A leading company in e-mobility solutions based in Bolzano is looking for an individual skilled in power electronics design. Responsibilities include modeling and testing using Matlab and Simulink, designing control algorithms, and code generation. Candidates should have a degree in relevant engineering fields along with experience in power electronics and automotive industries. Competenze

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics or similar.
• Previous experience with model based design.
• Experience with power electronics systems.
• Work experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
• Self‑reliant and meticulous work style with an analytical mindset.
• Attention to detail and grit to tackle complex problems.
• Fluent in English, Italian and/or German are a plus.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, simulation and documentation of models mainly for power electronic systems using Matlab, Simulink, PLECS
• Design of control algorithms (PFC, DCDC, system analysis in the frequency domain, optimisation of system behaviour, e.g. THDi)
• Automatic code generation, code integration, automation and execution of module tests
• Testing with Rapid prototyping systems

Your Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics or similar
• Previous experience with model based design
• Experience with power electronics systems
• Work experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
• Self‑reliant and meticulous work style with an analytical mindset
• Attention to detail and grit to tackle complex problems
• Fluent in English, Italian and/or German are a plus
