HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. in Milan, Lombardy, Italy, seeks a Project Technical Engineer (m/f/d) to lead the secondary electrical design for substations and industrial power systems.

You will coordinate internal and external teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes and ensure safety and compliance throughout the lifecycle. You will develop protection and control schemes, produce SLDs and wiring diagrams, and support FAT/SAT activities while liaising with customers and stakeholders.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in secondary engineering for substations or industrial power systems.
• Knowledge of protection concepts (differential, distance, overcurrent) and FAT/SAT processes.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate the secondary (electrical design) scope from concept through implementation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Prepare and validate technical specifications, equipment selections, and wiring diagrams.
• Develop protection and control schemes and support FAT/SAT activities.
• Ensure compliance with standards, grid codes, and Hitachi Energy requirements.
• Collaborate with civil, primary, protection, and control engineers for interfaces and constructability.
• Serve as technical contact for customers, suppliers, and stakeholders on secondary engineering matters.
• Support project execution, assess scope changes, manage risks, and contribute to scheduling and change management.
• Assist in tendering through engineering estimates and documentation.
