Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a skilled professional to lead the secondary electrical design for substations, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable operation from concept to commissioning.

You will develop protection schemes, review technical deliverables, and ensure compliance with grid codes, safety standards, and Hitachi Energy requirements. English and Italian language skills are essential for collaboration with global stakeholders.

Competenze

• Minimum 4 years of experience in secondary engineering for substations or industrial power systems.
• Knowledge of protection concepts (differential, distance, overcurrent) and FAT/SAT processes.
• Strong commitment to safety and health practices, with curiosity to learn new technologies.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate the secondary (electrical design) scope for substations from concept through implementation.
• Prepare and validate technical specifications, equipment selections, and drawings (SLDs, schematics, wiring diagrams).
• Develop protection and control schemes and support FAT/SAT activities.
• Ensure compliance with standards and Hitachi Energy quality, HSE requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure interfaces, constructability, and cable routing.
• Support project execution, scope changes, risk management, and scheduling.
• Assist in tendering activities by preparing technical documentation and risk assessments.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and customer handover.
