Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. invites engineers to join its Grid & Power Quality Solutions team in Milan. You will evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques, act as design authority, and support project installation, commissioning and site activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's/Master’s in Electrical, Energy or Mechanical Engineering and 5–7 years in GIS AIS or EPC power plants, with strong coordination and communication skills in English and Italian.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical, Energy or Mechanical Engineering
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in GIS (gas insulated switchgear) and/or AIS (air insulated switchgear) and/or EPC power plants
• Ability to coordinate projects and people with stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; English and Italian proficiency

Mansioni

• Evaluating, selecting and applying standard engineering techniques for conventional projects
• Acting as design authority for engineering discipline
• Collaborating on project installation, commissioning and site activities, clarifying issues and providing technical support
• Assisting in creating proposals and performing risk analysis before submitting proposals
• Overseeing subcontract creation and management with supply chain involvement
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements
• Leading and coordinating small engineering teams on low complexity projects
• Leading single or multi-discipline teams of fewer than 5 people
