AXA XL in Italy invites a senior underwriting leader to head Property, Energy & Construction underwriting for the Italian market. You will define strategy, lead a ~15-person team and collaborate with Distribution, Operations and Claims to deliver value to brokers and clients.

The role reports to the Italy Country Manager and aligns with European PEC leadership. Strong Italian and English, with experience in property and casualty underwriting, are essential.

Mansioni

• Lead the PEC underwriting team, fostering collaboration, accountability and professional growth
• Define and implement underwriting strategy to achieve premium volume and profitability targets
• Oversee portfolio quality, underwriting, risk assessment, pricing and renewals
• Develop profitable growth opportunities and support client retention
• Strengthen relationships with brokers, clients and risk managers and cross-sell across lines
• Collaborate with Distribution, Claims, Risk, and other teams for effective service and solutions
• Represent AXA XL in the market and coordinate stakeholders locally and at Group level
• Contribute to the Italy Leadership Team and cross-functional initiatives
