AXA XL in Milan, Italy is seeking a Senior Underwriter Property - Team Leader to lead a dedicated property underwriting team and drive profitability through expert risk assessment and client service.

You will underwrite new and renewal business, manage broker and client relationships, and collaborate across functions to meet the business plan. Excellent English and Italian communication are required, with a track record in property underwriting.

Competenze

• Underwriting experience in Property within commercial insurance market.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.

Mansioni

• Review submissions including applications, policy wording, inspection reports, loss runs, and financial reports to determine risk for each account.
• Calculate risk premium considering risk costs, reinsurance cessions and underwriting costs while ensuring profitability.
• Advise, assist, service and follow up with clients on insurance and risk management matters to meet requirements.
• Effectively manage relationships to cross-sell products and ensure account retention.
• Ensure timely implementation of new and renewed accounts according to quality standards.
• Support budgeting/forecasting and monitor financial exposure and premium income within limits.
• Maintain awareness of all advised claims and provide input on settlements.
• Coordinate and lead a team of Property Underwriters, guiding workload prioritization and collaboration.
