OHB Italia seeks a Satellite Project Procurement Manager (m/f) to lead procurement activities for a satellite program, based in Milano, Rome, or Torino. You will manage supplier selection, tender processes, and contract change management, coordinating a team of subcontract managers and leading evaluation boards.

The role requires a degree in aerospace/related fields, strong project and contract management, excellent negotiation skills, and fluency in English.

Competenze

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or comparable qualifications
• Several years of project management experience with emphasis on financial management and contract management
• High level of technical affinity to understand technical requirements
• Self-confidence and excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Enhanced analytical and organizational skills, economic thinking
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Mansioni

• Act as the main responsible for all procurement related activities within a core project team
• Coordinate and implement procurement activities of equipment and subsystems for a satellite project
• Select suitable suppliers and subcontractors through negotiation and competitive processes
• Lead a team of subcontract managers and manage tender documentation and evaluation boards
• Coordinate supplier visits across Europe and worldwide and lead technical reviews
• Report to the project manager with monthly progress and status updates
