OHB Italia seeks a Senior Satellite System Engineer to shepherd satellite programs across the lifecycle, from design through in-orbit operations, within the Satellite and Missions Department. You will push innovative approaches to reduce costs and delivery times for Earth observation missions, interfacing with agencies and private customers.

Competenze

• Master in a technical field with strong space systems background.
• Proven experience in satellite engineering across lifecycle.
• Experience with optical and/or radar payloads.
• Experience with commercial and institutional customers.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-oriented thinking.

Mansioni

• Lead the development and qualification of small satellites.
• Define satellite requirements for optical and radar Earth-observation missions.
• Perform satellite functional analysis and design trade-offs.
• Manage satellite internal and external interfaces.
• Detailed planning of activities and milestones.
• Support satellite verification and AIT campaigns.
• Participate in Launch campaigns.
• Interface with Agencies and private customers.
