PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to serve as the primary link between PTC and healthcare providers in the assigned Italian territory.

You will manage all operational aspects of pharmaceutical sales, communicate the clinical and economic value of PTC products, build lasting relationships with hospitals, clinics and academic centers, and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related business or scientific discipline and a minimum of 6 years sales/key account management experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment.
• Certified Medical Representative and clean record for violation of local pharmaceutical codes and guidelines.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing and managing a territory in prior roles.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic and actionable business plans.
• Experience selling to hospitals, clinics and academic centers including complete account selling.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel; valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Establishes, develops and maintains business partnerships with targeted HCPs and staffs within assigned geographical territory; executes a territory specific integrated action plan to achieve territory and sales goals.
• Creates consultative, solution-oriented partnerships with customers by meeting regularly with targeted HCPs to discuss how PTC products meet their needs.
• Identifies key treatment versus referral centres and facilitates cross-collaboration to optimize patient care.
• Drives patient identification initiatives.
• Establishes and maintains relations with health authorities, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and HCPs.
• Identifies and resolves product access and reimbursement issues.
• Provides HCPs and hospital staff with training and assistance in indicated use of the product.
• Communicates safety information and maintains clinical and pharmacoeconomic knowledge; collaborates with PV.
• Collaborates with commercial and scientific colleagues to share best practices and drive growth.
• Performs other tasks as needed by management.
