Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Key Account Manager to connect with health care providers in a designated Italian territory. You will promote products, educate staff, and build durable partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and payers while achieving sales goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 6 years of pharma sales/KAM experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. Travel and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related business or scientific discipline and a minimum of 6 years sales/KAM experience in pharma or related field.
• Certified Medical Representative with clean record for pharma codes and guidelines.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing a territory.
• Analytical thinker able to translate data into strategic plans.
• Willing to travel extensively and interact with hospital/clinic accounts.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain partnerships with targeted HCPs within assigned territory.
• Develop and execute a territory action plan to achieve sales goals.
• Identify key treatment centers and coordinate cross-collaboration for patient care.
• Drive patient identification initiatives and address access/reimbursement issues.
• Provide training to HCPs on product use and safety information.
• Communicate pharmacovigilance updates and maintain product knowledge.
• Collaborate with commercial/scientific teams to share best practices.
• Travel as needed, including nights and weekends.
