AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Specialist Customer Service & Inside Sales in Lombardy. You will be the first contact for customers, troubleshoot issues, handle RFIs/RFQs, and collaborate with sales and product teams to grow local services.

You will manage key accounts, build long-term relationships, conduct site or remote sales meetings, and contribute to quarterly business reviews. Fluency in English and Italian is required; university degree is a plus.

Competenze

• 1–3 years of international forwarding experience.
• Experience in pricing and customer service.
• Fluent in English and Italian (oral and written).

Mansioni

• Manage new and existing customer accounts to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop local services and products.
• Handle RFIs and RFQs.
• Promote additional services to boost profitability.
• Interact with agents to set up quotes, routes and rates for international and domestic shipments.

Overview

The Specialist Customer Service & Inside Sales must have the ability to troubleshoot and become first point of contact for AIT’s customers seeking help with timely delivery and quotes. Establishing new relationships, managing and maintaining existing customer’s accounts and assessing customer’s needs translating into results oriented solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage new and existing customer accounts to assure accurate and timely delivery
• Collaborate with sales teams and products teams to develop local services and products
• Handle Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
• Promote additional services to contribute to overall profit
• Interact with various agents to set up quotes, routes and rates for international and domestic freight shipments
• Review the process and take immediate action to correct or solve issues that may occur
• Provide feedback on enhancing current procedures that will increase efficiency reduce errors and better serve our customers
• Build and maintain relationships with AIT’s customers and vendors on a first name basis
• Other duties assigned as business deems necessary
• Manage key accounts, focusing on customer retention and acquiring new clients while nurturing long-term business relationships
• Conducting sales meetings on site or remote
• In accordance with the sales and operation teams gather informations to present QBRs with all relevant customers

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of working experience in international forwarding
• Experience in Pricing and Customer Service
• Fluent oral and written English and Italian is a must
• University degree (nice to have)
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to develop new ideas and innovative solutions
