Silversea onboard sommeliers deliver a refined wine experience across all dining and beverage venues, upholding F&B standards and service principles. The role supports the full wine service cycle, from cellar maintenance to service execution, ensuring impeccable wine quality and guest engagement during peak service periods.

WSET Level 2 is highly preferable for this position, and the candidate will also contribute to wine training and beverage revenue under the guidance of the Head Sommelier.

Competenze

• Experience in wine service and guest engagement.

• WSET Level 2 desirable.

The Sommelier delivers a refined, personalized, genuine, and consistent wine experience across all restaurants and beverage venues onboard. This role upholds Silversea F&B Core Service Standards and Silversea Way service principles, providing expert wine guidance, technical precision, and proactive guest engagement.

With elevated responsibility due to a more streamlined Sommelier structure, the Sommelier supports the full wine service cycle - from cellar maintenance to service execution - ensuring impeccable wine quality, accurate pairings, and full readiness for peak service periods. The role also supports wine training, contributes to beverage revenue, and plays a key part in achieving guest satisfaction and operational excellence under the guidance of the Head Sommelier.

WSET Level 2 is highly preferrable for this position.
