A.P. Moller - Maersk is hiring for a Solution Designer in Genoa to create innovative, price-competitive and operationally viable solutions for complex project shipments. You will collaborate with Business Development, Sales and Procurement to translate customer needs into winning value propositions.

Join an international, fast-paced MPL team and contribute to margins, win rates and solution quality while traveling within Italy as needed. Fluency in English and Italian is required.

Competenze

• Proven 5+ years of relevant technical or engineering experience in Project Logistics for complex shipments across breakbulk, heavy lift, OOG, RoRo, chartering.
• Strong technical and financial acumen with solution engineering, costing, pricing, resource modelling and business case development.
• Solid operational understanding of project logistics and design-to-execute mindset.

Mansioni

• Partner with Business Development and Sales on RFQs, RFPs and strategic pursuits.
• Translate customer requirements into technically sound, operationally viable and commercially competitive propositions.
• Own设计 of technical solutions in compliance with internal processes and standards.
• Costing, cost drivers and P&L assessment with Business Development to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Collaborate with Regional Procurement for sourcing, supplier profiling and negotiations.
• Maintain market knowledge and a diverse vendor network to enable cost efficiency and quality.
• Oversee project handover to Operations and support implementation.
• Drive Lean, process engineering, automation opportunities and knowledge sharing.
