A.P. Moller - Maersk in Genoa, Italy, invites a skilled Solution Designer to create innovative, price-competitive, and operationally sound solutions for complex project logistics, including breakbulk, heavy lift, OOG, and RoRo.

The role partners with Business Development and Sales on RFQs/RFPs, translates customer requirements into viable value propositions, and designs solutions compliant with internal standards, while focusing on cost and margin optimization.

Competenze

• 5+ years of relevant technical or engineering experience in Project Logistics for complex shipments across breakbulk, heavy lift, OOG, RoRo, chartering.
• Strong technical and financial acumen, with expertise in solution engineering, costing, pricing, resource modelling, and business case development.
• Solid operational understanding of project logistics and design-to-execute mindset, balancing cost, margin and operational risk.

Mansioni

• Accountable for designing price competitive, profitable, compliant and operationally sound solutions for complex project logistics opportunities across Italy and Central Europe.
• Partner closely with Business Development and Sales on RFQs, RFPs and strategic pursuits.
• Translate customer requirements into technically sound, operationally viable and commercially competitive value propositions.
• Owns the design of technical solutions in compliance with internal processes and standards, including service scope, models, and capacity requirements.
• Costing, cost drivers and business case/P&L assessment in collaboration with Business Development to deliver revenue and margin targets.
