Alpitronic in Italy is seeking a Software Product Owner to drive the evolution of our EV charging software solutions, bridging business needs, customer requirements, regulations, and development teams to deliver high-quality products.

You will define and manage the software roadmap, own the backlog for charger modules, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with OCPP, ISO15118 and IEC61851, while coordinating releases and OTA strategies.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role for complex software products, ideally in embedded systems, IoT, energy, or e-mobility environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and product backlog management.
• Ability to understand and translate technical requirements related to embedded software, networking protocols, and cloud-based architectures.
• Knowledge of EV charging technologies and standards such as OCPP, ISO 15118, and IEC 61851 is considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact effectively across multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a strategic product perspective.
• Fluent in English as well as German and/or Italian.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Total compensation starting from € 64,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement

The compensation indicated represents the total compensation for this role. Final compensation may vary based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and the scope of responsibilities. Should the position's responsibilities, seniority level, or location differ during the recruitment process, the applicable compensation may be adjusted accordingly, taking into account local market conditions and internal compensation frameworks.
