Job summary

TeamSystem, a leading tech company in Europe, seeks an experienced IT Architect to translate product strategy into scalable architecture for multi-tenant SaaS. You will guide architectural decisions and ensure long-term evolvability across domains.

With 5+ years in IT architecture, you will drive API- and event-driven designs, AI-enabled services, and balance legacy systems in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. Fluent English (C1) and a growth mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of IT architecture experience.
• Experience in designing and evolving complex distributed systems in hyperscale environments.
• Experience in API- and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to drive technical decisions with development teams.
• Experience in designing AI and data-driven software services.
• English at C1 level.
• Domain-Driven Design knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and guide architectural choices for products, ensuring consistency with platform principles and the evolution toward multi-tenant SaaS cloud services.
• Translate business and product objectives into sustainable software architectures, aligning strategy, system design, and technical implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers to guide the architectural design of domains, services, APIs and events across teams, ensuring coherence and evolvability.
• Lead Architecture Reviews, clarify options, risks, and systemic impacts before they become constraints.
• Drive the evolution of systems toward modular, interoperable, and extensible architectures, enabling reuse across products.
• Contribute to building AI-enabled products by designing architectures that integrate data, models, and intelligent automation into processes.
• Operate effectively in environments with legacy systems and production constraints.

What skills are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT architecture and related technical domains.

• Proven experience in designing and evolving complex distributed systems inhyperscalerenvironments, with the ability to make and justify architectural trade-offs under real-world constraints such as legacy systems, operational stability,scalabilityand cost.

• Experience in designing API‑and event‑driven architectures and in building modular, scalable systems.

• Ability to drive technical decisions in multidisciplinary contexts and work directly with development teams.

• Experience in designing AI and data‑driven software services, with the ability to assess risks, model degradation, explainability, and operational boundaries in production environments.

• Ability tomaintainalignment between strategic vision, architecture, and technical implementation.

• The ability to model complex application domains using Domain‑Driven Design principles will be considered a plus.

• Advancedproficiencyin English (C1 level).
