Job summary

TeamSystem in Lombardy seeks a software engineer to join our Research and Development team. You will translate financial and enterprise requirements into robust backend services and modern frontend features using Java Spring or .NET, React/Vue/Angular, and cloud/container technologies.

You'll collaborate across teams in an agile environment, contribute to modernization of legacy systems, and help drive AI-assisted development, with a Hybrid work model and a generous compensation package

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of enterprise software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOP in Java Spring or .NET/C#.
• Experience building UIs with React, Vue, or Angular.
• Relational database design, data modelling and query optimization.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing, and Agile.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices.
• Advanced English (C1).
• Exposure to Python, cloud technologies, containerization; fintech/payments interest is a plus.

In particular, you will:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs, ensuring code quality, performance, and reliability;
• Build and enhance frontend features using modern web technologies, contributing primarily to new products and functionalities;
• Support the evolution of existing applications, helping modernize and migrate legacy systems toward more scalable and maintainable solutions;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and production support.

What skills are we looking for?

• At least 2/3 years of experience developing applications in enterprise environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Excellent knowledge of OOP languages and frameworks: Java Spring or .NET (C#);
• Experience building modern user interfaces with frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular;
• Strong database skills: relational database design, data modelling, and query optimization;
• Familiarity with structured development practices: version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, code review, automated testing, and Agile methodologies;
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices;
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 level);
• Exposure to Python frameworks, cloud technologies, containerization, Agile ways of working, and an interest in the payments, fintech, or credit sectors will be considered a plus.
