Job summary

TeamSystem S.p.A. is seeking a Software Architect in Milan to translate product and business strategy into sustainable architectural decisions.

You will guide teams in implementing scalable, multi-tenant SaaS cloud services and ensure architectural coherence across domains, services, APIs and events. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT architecture, experience with distributed systems, API/event-driven design, and AI/ data-driven solutions, along with strong English skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in IT architecture and related technical domains.
• Experience designing and evolving complex distributed systems in hyperscaler environments.
• Experience in designing API- and event-driven architectures and building modular, scalable systems.
• Ability to drive technical decisions with development teams and architects.
• Experience in AI and data-driven software services with production considerations.
• Proficiency in Domain-Driven Design as a plus.
• Advanced English skills (C1).

Responsibilities

• Define and guide architectural choices for products, ensuring alignment with platform principles and multi-tenant SaaS cloud services.
• Translate business objectives into sustainable software architectures across strategy, design and implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers to guide architectural design of domains, services, APIs and events.
• Lead Architecture Reviews, clarifying options, risks, and systemic impacts.
• Drive evolution of systems toward modular, interoperable, extensible architectures for reuse across products.
