Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals seeks a Site Manager to join the M Renewables team in Italy for utility-scale solar projects. You will lead on-site activities, liaise with procurement, and supervise contractors while ensuring compliance with technical standards.

We require a minimum of five years’ site management in construction, a degree in engineering is a plus, and strong leadership, Italian and English fluency. Willingness to relocate and proficiency in Office/AutoCAD are expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical/Mechanical or Civil Engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years experience as site manager in construction.
• Fluent Italian and English.
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Study project SOW, including drawings, BOM, PO and subcontract requisitions.
• Report project progress to the Project Manager.
• Oversee subcontractors' installation works with site engineers.
• Report daily on materials received onsite.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics for material deliveries.
• Monitor compliance with technical requirements and norms.
• Manage site facilities (offices, utilities, cleaning) with local suppliers.
• Liaise with DL and CSE as needed.
• Assume the role of Preposto (site supervisor) per Italian HSE law.

We are currently looking for aSite Managerto join our M Renewables team in Italyfor the construction ofutility-scale solar projects.

Your role will encompass:

• studies deeply project SOW including engineering drawings, BOM, material purchase orders and subcontract requisitions
• reports project progress to the Project Manager
• oversees, with the help of site engineers, subcontractors's installation works
• reports daily about the material received onsite
• liaise, in collaboration with Procurement and Logistics departments, with suppliers to arrange the material deliveries
• monitors compliance with Melen Energy & Metals technical requirements and all the applicable norms and standards
• manage the site facilities from a technical and administrative point of view. Rent offices, provide the necessary utilities (water, electricity, internet), organize cleaning activities stipulating contract with local suppliers
• liaise with DL and CSE where necessary
• you will formally assume the role of "Preposto" (site supervisor as per Italian HSE legislation)

What you bring to the role:

• minimum 5 years working experience as site manager within construction
• University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or Civil Engineering is a plus
• excellent use of Microsoft Office and AUTOCAD
• leadership and negotiation skills
• willingness to relocate
• fluent knowledge of Italian and English

Compensation & Contractual Framework

The starting gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is €48.200, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.

Applicable CCNL: MetalmeccanicoCNA Level / Inquadramento: B3

The final compensation may reflect the candidate’s relevant experience and competencies, in line with the Company’s remuneration framework.
