Job summary

METLEN is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer for its M Renewables team in Italy. This internal opportunity supports METLEN's mission to build a sustainable future.

You will lead initial site setup, provide technical support to the installation team, ensure correct implementation of electrical drawings by the subcontractor, supervise schedules, and report deviations to the project manager.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of solar power systems and electrical design.
• 2–5 years of experience in solar park construction preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and civil drawings.
• Fluency in English and Italian essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

We are currently looking for an Electrical Site Engineer to join our M Renewables team in Italy, part of our subsidiary METKA EGN.

Your role will encompass:

• Initial site setup and establishment (supported by the HSE site manager)
• Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team and other project members
• Ensure correct implementation of electrical drawings by the main subcontractor
• Supervise subcontractors schedule and works
• Report to the project manager any deviations from the PoW or scope by the subcontractors
• Assist the team with the construction flow and timetable

What you bring to the role:

• BSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering.MSc in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering is considered an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of solar power systems, electrical design, and relevant codes and standards.
• Proven track record (2-5 years) in the construction of solar parks is considered an advantage
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and civil construction drawings is essential.
• Fluency in English and Italian is essential
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Contractual Framework

The starting gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is €35,100, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.

The final compensation may reflect the candidate's relevant experience and competencies, in line with the Company's remuneration framework.
