Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals Plc is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to join the M Renewables team in Italy. You will oversee initial site setup, provide technical guidance to the installation team, and ensure electrical drawings are correctly implemented by the main subcontractor.

Fluency in English and Italian is essential, with a BSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering (MSc advantageous) and 2–5 years' experience in solar park construction.

Qualifications

BSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering; MSc advantage.
Experience interpreting electrical, mechanical and civil drawings.
2–5 years construction of solar parks preferred.
Fluency in English and Italian.
AUTOCAD knowledge.

Job description

We are currently looking for an Electrical Site Engineerto join our M Renewables team in Italy, part of our subsidiaryMETKA EGN.

Your role will encompass:

Initial site setup and establishment (supported by the HSE site manager)
Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team and other project members
Ensure correct implementation of electrical drawings by the main subcontractor
Supervise subcontractors schedule and works
Report to the project manager any deviations from the PoW or scope by the subcontractors
Assist the team with the construction flow and timetable

What you bring to the role:

BSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering.MSc in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering is considered an advantage
In-depth knowledge of solar power systems, electrical design, and relevant codes and standards.
Proven track record (2-5 years)in the construction of solar parks is considered an advantage
Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and civil construction drawings is essential.
Fluency in English and Italian is essential
Knowledge of AUTOCAD
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Contractual Framework

The starting gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is €35,100, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.

The final compensation may reflect the candidate’s relevant experience and competencies, in line with the Company’s remuneration framework.
