Job summary

METLEN is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer in Italy to join the M Renewables team. You will lead initial site setup, coordinate with project and construction managers, and supervise subcontractors to ensure integrated delivery.

The role includes budget assistance, cost-effective procurement, and on-site technical support. Required are a Mechanical Engineering degree (MSc preferred), 2–3 years in mechanical maintenance (renewables ideal), fluent English and Italian, and strong drawing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in renewables.
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and civil drawings is essential.
• Fluency in English and Italian is essential.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our M Renewables team in Italy, part of our subsidiaryMETKA EGN.

Your role will encompass:

• Initial site setup and establishment (supported by the HSE site engineers)
• Coordinate with project manager, construction manager and site engineersto ensure integrated project delivery.
• Supervise subcontractors schedule and works
• Report to the project manager any deviations from the PoW or scope by the subcontractors
• Assist the team withproject budgets for mechanical works, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
• Provide technical support onsite

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. MSc is considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within the renewable energy sector
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and civil construction drawings is essential.
• Fluency in English and Italian is essential
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Contractual Framework

The starting gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is 35.100€, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
Applicable CCNL: MetalmeccanicoCNA Level / Inquadramento: B1

The final compensation may reflect the candidate’s relevant experience and competencies, in line with the Company’s remuneration framework.
