Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals Plc seeks a Senior O&M Technician to join our M Renewables team in Italy. The role covers preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and coordinating external resources across solar plants.

You will monitor performance, maintain records, and support remote work with travel as needed. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in solar maintenance, 1+ year in electrical roles, and experience with inverters, trackers, MV/HV equipment, IT networks, and CMMS.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years proven track record in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting at solar projects greater than 1 MW.
Minimum 1-year proven track record in other electrical jobs.
Experience with string inverters, trackers, MV/HV equipment, IT networks, cameras/optical fiber, and CMMs.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled preventive and unscheduled corrective maintenance; coordinate external resources.
Monitor performance and availability; ensure compliance with guaranteed values and local regulations.
Maintain logs and update CMMS and server files; ensure electronic backups.
Manage spare parts and track third-party activities.
Travel to solar plants as required and support remote work.

We are currently looking forSenior O&M Technicianto join our M Renewables team inItaly, part of our subsidiaryMETKA EGN.

Your role will encompass:

Carry out scheduled preventive and unscheduled corrective maintenance; identify and coordinate external resources.

Monitor PR and Availability; ensure compliance with guaranteed values and local regulations.

Keep records and maintenance logs; update server files and ensure electronic backups.

Perform Spare Parts Management and track third-party activities.

Manage and update CMMS and internal platforms/files.

Ability to work remotely and travel to solar plants when required.

What you bring to the role:

Minimum 3 years proven track record in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting at solar projects greater than 1 MW

Minimum 1-year proven track record in other electrical jobs

Experience in String Inverters, Trackers, MV/HV equipments, IT (comm, cameras/optical fiber), CMMs, Driver Licenses.

University Degree in Electrical

Knowledge of Italian HSE Legislation

Fluent English and fluent Italian

Compensation & Contractual Framework
The starting gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is 35.100€, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
Applicable CCNL: MetalmeccanicoCNA Level / Inquadramento: B1

The final compensation may reflect the candidate’s relevant experience and competencies, in line with the Company’s remuneration framework.
