A global cruise line is looking for a passionate Shop Specialist to join their onboard team. The role involves assisting guests in selecting high-end products, building relationships, and achieving sales targets. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in retail or hospitality, with fluency in English and another EU language. The position offers a 5-month contract with benefits including shared accommodation, meals, and access to crew facilities.

For one of our clients, owner of Italian flag cruise ships and operating worldwide, we are looking for passionate, dynamic and customer-oriented Shop Specialist for high-end and luxury product.

What you will do onboard

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting guests in discovering brands, products and experiences aligned with their interests;
• Building strong and meaningful guest relationships;
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets;
• Ensuring high standards of visual merchandising and product presentation;
• Supporting stock activities and maintaining cleanliness and organization of retail areas;
• Collaborating with the onboard retail team to ensure an engaging and profitable shopping experience.

Key competences and qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in retail or hospitality (luxury guest experience is of interest)
• 1 contract shipboard experience well appreciated
• High school diploma, studies in retail or hospitality well accepted
• Drive for results and goal orientation
• Relationship management skills
• Fluent English (B2 level) and an additional EU language (minimum B1 level)

What we offer:

• Onboard contract: 5 months (+/- 1 month)
• Accommodation in shared cabin (2 people) and complimentary meals onboard
• Free uniform for the first contract
• STCW course reimbursement at the end of the first contract
• Access to crew facilities (gym, crew bar, internet point, onboard discounts, family benefits and more)

STCW is a mandatory safety training that must be completed before to embark. The course lasts approx. 10 days and it must be taken in presence in the same country of your passport
