Job summary

Must Energy Group is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service energy storage systems and related electrical equipment across Italy. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot faults, and replace components on-site, ensuring timely resolution for customers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in equipment repair or field service, strong hands-on skills, and the ability to travel. English basics preferred and a valid driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on equipment repair, field service or after-sales maintenance.
• Strong hands-on repair skills including fault diagnosis and PCB replacement.
• Experience with inverters, energy storage, solar PV equipment, UPS or power electronics preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot on-site and travel within Italy.
• Basic English preferred.
• Valid driving license required.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Repair: Independently diagnose and repair faults in energy storage systems, inverters and related electrical equipment, including component replacement and equipment testing.
2. On-site Maintenance: Perform on-site inspections, troubleshooting, disassembly, repair and replacement of faulty components.
3. Fault Diagnosis: Use electrical testing tools and diagnostic methods to identify hardware and electrical faults and restore equipment to normal operation.
4. Customer Service: Provide on-site technical support and repair services to customers across Italy, ensuring timely resolution of equipment failures.
5. Technical Reporting: Document repair processes, fault causes and solutions, and coordinate with the headquarters' technical team on complex issues.

Job Requirements:

1. Education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation or a related field.
2. More than 2 years of hands-on experience in equipment repair, field service or after-sales maintenance.
3. Strong hands-on repair skills are essential, including electrical fault diagnosis, component-level troubleshooting, PCB board replacement and electrical component repair or replacement.
4. Experience with inverters, energy storage systems, solar PV equipment, UPS or power electronics is highly preferred.
5. Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair equipment on-site, rather than providing remote support only.
6. Basic English is preferred.
7. Hold valid driving license is prefferd and willingness to travel within Italy.
