Job summary

Generali is implementing OneFinance 2026, a Group-level Finance Transformation program spanning 30+ countries. The Senior Test Manager will own the end-to-end testing strategy and lead a dedicated Test Management team across SIT, UAT and E2E, ensuring quality gates for country go-lives.

You will drive test automation, including AI-assisted approaches, manage external partners, and coordinate across Finance, Procurement, and IT to deliver reliable go-live readiness.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of IT test management experience, including 4 years in a lead role.
• Proven end-to-end test strategy across SIT, UAT and E2E in multi-country programs.
• Hands-on test automation experience; ability to define program-level automation strategy.
• Experience governing external system integrators and negotiating with stakeholders.
• Strong defect management, quality gates and go-live readiness.
• Experience managing test environments and data strategies in complex landscapes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and concise decision-oriented communication.
• Proven ability to lead distributed, multicultural teams.
• English C1+ and Italian language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define, own and evolve the program-level test strategy.
• Lead test analysts and automation engineers across country rollouts.
• Drive automation framework design for SAP S/4HANA and integrations.
• Plan SIT and coordinate testing across workstreams.
• Coordinate UAT with Finance and Procurement; manage scripts and sign-off.
• Own defect management and provide executive status reports.
• Standardize tooling and processes across rollouts.
