Job summary

Ing Banking is seeking a Finance Change & Transformation Expert to design and lead end-to-end initiatives across Accounting, Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting. You will collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance and ICT to translate needs into governed data and AI-enabled solutions.

The role requires strong audit and Finance transformation experience in banks, with IFRS/IFRS 9/16 knowledge, data governance and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least four years of audit experience in banks or regulated financial institutions, followed by consulting or Finance transformation experience (2 years minimum).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and end-to-end Finance processes.
• Experience with complex Finance initiatives (IFRS 9/16/18, GL transformation, Finance data architecture, Data Management or AI-enabled transformations).
• Understanding of bank prudential and supervisory reporting and data governance concepts.
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, impact analysis, solution design, testing, migration and implementation.
• Sound project management skills with Agile familiarity and ability to plan an AI roadmap.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, including senior and international partners.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work across functions and geographies with a delivery-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Finance change and transformation initiatives from impact assessment to post-go-live stabilization.
• Assess accounting standards and regulatory requirements impacts on processes, data and controls.
• Translate needs into business/functional requirements, data specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Design and implement accounting, Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting solutions with analytics, automation and AI capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Data and Technology.
• Define scope, plans, milestones, resources, governance; monitor delivery and risks.
• Plan testing, data migration, reconciliation and reporting validation including AI output controls.
• Ensure solutions are compliant, auditable and governed with data privacy and model risk safeguards.
• Drive process simplification, standardization and automation while preserving data integrity.
• Support stakeholder engagement, training and transition to business-as-usual operations.
