Infineon Technologies AG in Pavia, Italy is seeking a Senior Staff Component Verification Engineer to shape next-generation controller IC validation. You will merge creativity with technical expertise to drive projects and bring ideas to life.

In this role you will define validation concepts, develop test plans, lead HiL and firmware verification, and automate defect reporting to uphold high quality standards.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience with embedded systems, especially ARM Cortex-M MCUs.
• Degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent.
• Proficient in embedded C/C++ with strong debugging skills.
• Experience in automated Python-based testing scripts.

We are seeking a Senior Staff Component Verification Engineer in our Research & Development team. You will merge creativity with technical expertise to shape the future of technology, drive projects, and bring ideas to life.

Your Role

• Define validation concepts for controller-based ICs
• Develop comprehensive test plans based on requirements
• Lead the design of validation test benches
• Test and verify embedded controllers, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing and firmware validation
• Document defects and compliance metrics in an automated way to maintain quality standards

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience with embedded systems, specifically ARM Cortex-M MCUs
• Strong foundations in embedded C/C++, MATLAB or Python
• Hardware debugging skills using oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Experience in automated test scripting with Python
• Fluency in English (mandatory)

Location: Pavia, Italy

Indicative Salary Range: 50400€ - 69300€ per year. The stated salary comprises base pay and target variable compensation. The starting salary is determined using objective, gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience and role scope; prior compensation is not requested or considered.
