ATG Europe is seeking multiple Ground System Engineers and Architects for positions in Rome, Milan or Turin, Italy. You will be employed by ATG Europe (or a subsidiary) and will undergo external security screening during the interview process.

The role involves defining ground segment design, S/S architecture, interfaces, budgets and MBSE approaches; requires a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering and 5+ years in EO ground systems. English fluency is essential; Italian knowledge is a plus.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or comparable degree.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Ground Segment engineering for space systems (Phase C/D).
• 5+ years in definition and design of Subsystems for EO space systems.
• Experience with DOORS for requirements traceability.
• Proficiency with simulation tools for G/S performance (e.g., STK, Python, MATLAB).
• Knowledge of SysML/UML MBSE methods.
• Good understanding of ground system processes and life cycles.
• Familiarity with ECSS standards.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Eligible to live and work in the EU.
• Fluent English; Italian language knowledge is a plus.

• Definition and control of system technical budget and margins.
