Job summary

Aspen Technology, Inc. is seeking a Principal Solution Consultant based in Europe to support the sales process with deep product and industry knowledge.

The role involves working with account managers, articulating value, and developing business cases for clients across refinery, chemical, pharmaceutical, and process industries. The candidate should have strong communication skills, be a team player, and frequently travel in Europe to customer sites, workshops, and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering with +8 years practical experience in consulting, technology, and/or industry.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems related roles.
• Strong business acumen and ability to interview customers, identify improvements and overcome resistance to change.
• Fluent English speaking is a must and willingness to travel in Europe for customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted advisor to customers and apply consultative skills in client-facing situations.
• Facilitate understanding of Manufacturing Execution System functionality, value creation and process improvement.
• Act as business partner with the account team to develop strategy maximizing AspenTech usage and growth.
• Develop presentations and messages for projects and lead customers to action.
