Experteer Italy seeks a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain field software for GNSS receivers and surveying equipment across Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS. You will connect field devices with Topcon and third‑party systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to new features and documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross‑functional teams, adherence to quality standards, and hands‑on Android development with Android Studio in a hybrid, global project environment.

Competenze

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with strong Java and/or C++.
• Hands-on Android development experience with Android Studio.
• Strong understanding of OOP, software design, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading.
• Experience with development tools, version control, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Familiarity with c++20, boost, asio, gRPC, protobuf, mqtt, ntrip, rtcm, NMEA, cryptography, static analysis, memory optimization, C++ templates, sql, multithreading, lockfree, docker, geometry (advantage).

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain field software used with GNSS receivers and surveying equipment across Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions and connect field devices with Topcon and third-party systems. You’ll troubleshoot issues, contribute to new features, and help improve software processes.
