Experteer Italy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain field software used with GNSS receivers and surveying equipment across Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS. You will interface with Topcon and third-party systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to new features and documentation.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in Java and/or C++, strong OO design, and hands-on Android development with Android Studio; a global-project

• 3+ years of professional software development with Java and/or C++.
• Hands-on Android development experience with Android Studio.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading.
• Experience with debugging, testing, documentation, and version control.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain field software used with GNSS receivers and surveying equipment across Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions and connect field devices with Topcon and third-party systems. You’ll troubleshoot issues, contribute to new features, and help improve software processes.
