Job summary

Qair Italia develops, builds and operates wind, solar and storage plants in Italy. The Project Development Manager will oversee development stages from origination to RTB, coordinating land, grid and permitting activities within scope, budget, and schedule, and ensuring timely handover to Construction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in greenfield development of renewable energy projects in Italy (wind/solar).
• In-depth knowledge of national, regional and local RES permitting regulations (Legislative Decrees 387/2003 and 152/2006).
• Experience with grid connection requests (Terna, e-Distribuzione) and land agreements negotiation.
• Strong project management skills (planning, budget and schedule control).
• Ability to manage several projects in parallel across regions.
• Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomy, proactivity and result orientation in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Experience with GIS tools and travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess development opportunities (wind, solar, agrivoltaic, BESS) and perform feasibility studies.
• Define permitting strategy and manage RTB progression for multiple projects.
• Coordinate environmental, design, and legal documentation and interact with authorities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on pipeline.
• Secure land rights and grid connection solutions aligned with timelines.
• Manage budgets, resources and risks; report progress to management.
• Coordinate consultants and external co-developers to ensure deliverables quality.
• Support finance with inputs for business plans and bids in competitive procedures.
• Hand over projects to Construction and assist up to commissioning.
• Engage with authorities and stakeholders to foster social acceptance.
