Job summary

European Energy Italy is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to own the financial and commercial view of the Italian development pipeline. You will ensure each project has a robust business case, realistic assumptions, and commercial terms reflecting value and risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, with strong financial focus.
• Hands-on experience building and auditing project finance models in Excel.
• Solid understanding of the Italian renewables market, including permitting and route-to-market.
• Proven commercial and negotiation skills with developers, landowners or counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Run periodic financial reviews of the Italian pipeline across solar PV, onshore wind, BESS and hybrid projects.
• Prepare project cash flows and budgets with Project Managers; validate assumptions and strategy.
• Maintain the project screening model for Capex, Opex, energy yield, revenue stack and financing.
• Assess hybrid opportunities and model shared grid capacity, curtailment and dispatch.
• Perform IRR, NPV, LCOE and payback analyses to identify value drivers and risks.
• Produce regular portfolio reporting for local and group management.
