Allianz Italia in Milan seeks a senior underwriter to develop and execute the strategy for Property & Liability risks in the Italian market, reporting to the Property Team Leader. You will also support the local strategy to achieve Mid Corporate targets and serve as the contact for selected agents.

This role requires strong leadership, risk assessment expertise, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to drive

Competenze

• Master's degree in Engineering, Economics or Law.
• 9–15 years in underwriting profitable Property for Corporate Clients.
• Experience with multinational clients preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication; able to work in an international organization.

Job Purpose/Role

Based in Milan and reporting to the Property Team Leader, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Property & Liability risks into the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be also the contact person for selected agents working with the Mid-Corporate team.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales departments, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.
• Ensure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Master's degree in Engineering or Economics or Law
• 9-15 years proven experience in underwriting profitable Property including both PD/BI and Theft and Liability business for Corporate Clients
• Preference if also experienced in Multinational clients.
• Proven leadership skills
• Expertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle.
• Sound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills
• Ideally experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordings
• Ideally experience in driving underwriting projects
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work in an international organization.

• Very good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative tools Pursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between € 50.000,00 gross and € 65.000,00 gross. Employment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement. The final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.
