FlexLink, a Coesia company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major projects from contract signature to customer acceptance in Bologna. The role requires strong experience in large industrial projects, financial oversight, and executive-level customer engagement.

The candidate will manage a cross-functional team across engineering, supply chain, installation, and commissioning, while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality. Travel to customer sites is expected as needed.

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of project management experience on large industrial or automation projects.
• End-to-end project delivery experience: execution, installation, commissioning, handover.
• Strong financial discipline: cost tracking and forecast-to-completion management.
• Proven customer management skills with senior-level stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Take full accountability for delivery across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk.
• Build and maintain the integrated project plan from kick-off to final customer acceptance.
• Lead project governance: define cadence, chair reviews, inform stakeholders.
• Own change control; document, price, and reflect changes in the plan.
• Serve as primary customer contact throughout the lifecycle with clear communication.
• Manage expectations when priorities shift and timelines are at risk.
• Prepare concise status updates for internal management and customers.
• Represent FlexLink credibly in customer meetings and senior reviews.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, installation, and commissioning.
• Coordinate resources with functional managers and flag capacity issues early.
• Manage subcontractors, monitor performance, and escalate as needed.
• Own the project budget, forecast to completion, take corrective actions.
• Manage invoicing in line with milestones and monitor cash flow.
• Coordinate procurement decisions with supply chain for cost/quality/delivery.
• Maintain an up-to-date risk register as a working tool.
• Identify problems early and implement mitigation actions.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and secure customer acceptance.
