Experteer Italy is seeking a senior leader to head the Global Gas Seal Support Systems engineering organization, spanning pre-order to post-order activities. You will drive engineering excellence, standardisation, and onboarding of best practices while managing a multidisciplinary, international team.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering.
• 20+ years of engineering experience with at least 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong expertise in gas seal systems and process industries (oil & gas, chemical, pharma, turbomachinery).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

In this role you will lead the global Gas Seal Support Systems engineering organization, spanning pre-order and post-order activities, from RFQ to final design release. You will drive engineering excellence, standardisation, and onboarding of global best practices while managing a multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations and customers to deliver high-quality solutions and support business growth. • Own end-to-end engineering lifecycle from RFQ to manufacturing release and final documentation
• Manage and develop a global team of Engineering Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Engineers

• Serve as technical SME for Gas Seal Support Systems
• Ensure on-time, accurate engineering deliverables (drawings, datasheets, calculations, documentation)
• Monitor and improve engineering performance metrics (OTD, quality, cycle time)
• Lead capacity planning, workload management, and project scheduling
• Coach, mentor, and develop talent
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Projects, Procurement, and Manufacturing to align priorities
• Drive process standardisation, automation, and adoption of global best practices
• Manage engineering tools and systems across the organisation
• Coordinate with regional teams and customers for technical alignment and project execution
• Support product development, R&D, NPD, and cost optimisation initiatives
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and PALs
• Address technical challenges and customer issues while maintaining satisfaction
• Support site audits and customer visits as required
• Ensure compliance with customer specs, ISO standards, and EHS requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering
• 20+ years of engineering experience with at least 5+ years in leadership
• Strong expertise in gas seal systems and process industries (oil & gas, chemical, pharma, turbomachinery)
• Strong understanding of engineering processes, business drivers, and industry standards
• Proven leadership and team management capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage global teams and multi-region environments
