Jobgether is seeking a senior Linux Platform Engineer based in Italy to own and evolve enterprise Linux platforms across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will shape strategy, architecture, automation, security, reliability, and lifecycle management at scale.

The role requires driving IaC, automation, observability, and DevOps practices to deliver resilient platforms. You will mentor others and lead complex initiatives end‑to‑end.

Competenze

• Experience engineering and operating enterprise Linux platforms in large environments.
• Strong automation, IaC, and scripting skills (Bash, Python).
• Proven ability to drive platform modernization and standardization.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments.

Mansioni

• Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap and lifecycle management.
• Define engineering standards and platform build patterns.
• Design scalable Linux solutions across on‑premises and cloud.
• Lead architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Drive automation with Ansible, Terraform, and scripting.
• Maintain monitoring and observability standards (Datadog, Dynatrace).
• Lead complex incidents, root‑cause analysis, and permanent fixes.
• Mentor engineers and promote DevOps practices.
