Job summary

Dayco in Abruzzo, Italy seeks a senior HR leader to own the full HR agenda across three plants and an R&D center. You will partner with plant and functional leaders, shaping people strategies within a multinational framework.

Responsibilities include Italian industrial relations, labor law compliance, talent development, succession planning, and collaboration with global HR. The role requires travel across Abruzzo sites and occasional international assignments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership role
• Experience in Italian industrial relations and union negotiations
• Strong knowledge of Italian labor law, CCNL, and RSU/RSA dynamics
• Experience in multinational manufacturing or R&D environments
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages a plus
• Willingness to travel across Abruzzo sites and occasionally internationally

Responsibilities

• Lead the full HR agenda for the Abruzzo operations, covering three manufacturing plants, one R&D center, and selected corporate teams
• Act as a trusted strategic partner and coach to plant, site, and functional leaders on all people-related matters
• Own Italian industrial relations end-to-end, including union negotiations, RSU/RSA engagement, CCNL and company-level agreements, disputes, strikes, conciliation, and collective restructuring procedures
• Ensure full compliance with Italian labor law, national collective agreements, and company policies while managing complex employee relations cases
• Drive workforce planning, organization design, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and capability development
• Partner with Total Rewards and HR Operations on compensation, benefits, payroll, HR systems, and pay transparency compliance
• Collaborate closely with global HR teams, the wider Italy HR team, and HR peers in other business units to align local practices with global frameworks
• Lead, develop, and motivate the local HR team while promoting a culture of accountability, integrity, collaboration, and safety
