Peraton in Vicenza, Italy seeks a G7 Military Exercise Planner to join the SETAF-AF Strategic Mission Support Program. You will coordinate US and allied exercise design across Europe and Africa, translating strategic directives into detailed exercise plans and CPX training with MSEL focus.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 10 years of senior military experience, and 3+ years in exercise planning within JELC, MDMP/JPP familiarity, and a Secret clearance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer or Officer in the U.S. military.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with military planning, design, and execution of Brigade-level or higher headquarters-level exercises.
• Experience planning within the Joint Exercise Life Cycle framework.
• Experience with the Joint Training Tool for exercise resourcing, design, and management.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Mansioni

• Support the SETAF-AF G7 Staff Directorate in planning and execution of USAFRICOM, USAREUR-AF, and SETAF-AF exercises on European and African continents.
• Facilitate all aspects of exercise coordination and preparation throughout the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).
• Develop, coordinate, and execute CPX training with emphasis on MSEL and operational environment development.
• Translate strategic directives into comprehensive exercise design and plans.
• Include duties such as JELC event management, orders production, concept development, and multi-year exercise strategy development.
