Reesmarx in Naples, Italy seeks a Facility Planner to support NAVFAC EURAFCENT facility planning and capital-improvement programs. This on-site role requires coordinating master plans, site analyses, and real-estate actions for DoD installations in Europe.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, prepare technical reports, and interact with government decision-makers. A decade of planning experience and CEFR B2 English are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in planning, engineering, architecture, or internationally equivalent field.
• At least ten years of professional, code-compliant facility-planning experience involving real-estate actions, installation or master planning, site planning, capital planning, or closely related government-facility work.
• Experience supporting DoD, Navy, another government agency, or a comparably complex public-facilities organization.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and update area development plans, installation development plans, capital-improvement plans, basic facility requirements, facility-planning documents, special studies, and DD Form 1391 project documentation.
• Prepare site-planning analyses and site-approval packages and coordinate host-nation, real-estate, environmental, public-works, utility, safety, and antiterrorism requirements.
• Support space assignments, sustainment/restoration/modernization planning, DD Form 1354 actions, energy and economic analyses, parametric estimates, and business-case evaluations.
• Integrate installation requirements into regional and enterprise planning priorities, investment plans, and programming submissions.
• Lead or coordinate multidisciplinary planning teams and engage installation personnel, commands, facility users, engineers, architects, environmental staff, and other stakeholders.
• Review master plans, land-use plans, encroachment and compatibility analyses, urban-development proposals, and infrastructure requirements.
• Use GIS and Navy planning and asset-management systems to analyze, document, and communicate facility conditions and requirements.
• Prepare clear technical reports, briefings, presentations, maps, and recommendations for government decision-makers.
• Full-time, primarily on site at the assigned government facility.
• Occasional travel to other NAVFAC EURAFCENT locations may be required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required installation access and successfully complete applicable background screening.
• Must protect controlled, sensitive, and proprietary information and comply with site security and safety requirements.
