Job summary

QBE, LLC in Vicenza, Italy, seeks an on-site SME Field Service Representative to support a military intelligence unit in Europe. You will provide hands-on user and system support, install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software, and train end users.

Working independently, you will assess requirements, evaluate technology, and coordinate with staff to deliver reliable, secure IT services at the site. A TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in user and field support.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• SME-level user support experience and the ability to work independently in the field.
• Certifications: ITIL Foundation and CompTIA Security+.
• Cyber certification: DoWM 8140.03 baseline and CE certification before privileged access.

Responsibilities

• Be the first call for users and resolve issues in person or remotely.
• Monitor daily performance of computer systems.
• Set up equipment, including cabling, OS and software.
• Train users and document procedures.
• Escalate major problems to vendors or technicians.
