Job summary

QBE, LLC in Vicenza, Italy, seeks an SME Field Service Representative to provide on-site support for a military intelligence unit. You will deliver hands-on user and system support, set requirements, evaluate hardware/software, train users, and guide support staff at the site.

You will independently perform installations, diagnose issues, and maintain records while coordinating with vendors and staff. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in user and field support.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• SME-level user support experience and ability to work independently in the field.
• Certifications: ITIL Foundation and CompTIA Security+.
• Cyber certification: DoWM 8140.03 baseline certification and CE certification before privileged access.
• CLEARANCE Active DOD TS/SCI

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote user support, install and configure equipment.
• Set up equipment for users, including cabling, operating systems and software.
• Train users and develop training materials.
• Escalate major hardware or software problems to vendors or technicians.
• Document daily data communication transactions and fixes.
• Lead junior and senior staff on special projects.
