Job summary

UL Solutions seeks a Senior Storage Advisory Expert to deliver high-impact renewables projects across EMEA. You will lead technical and commercial due-diligence for IE and TA projects in energy storage, solar and storage, and hybrid portfolios, influencing project financing and investment decisions.

Hybrid/remote options available from multiple locations; you will mentor colleagues and support regional growth while building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality advisory reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 5+ years of experience in energy storage or related fields.
• Strong understanding of project finance concepts and bankability considerations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to convey complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English; additional local language relevant to country of application is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex due diligence projects across storage, solar & storage and hybrid portfolios.
• Review contracts and technical documentation to identify technical and commercial risks.
• Analyze and validate financial models, including CAPEX/OPEX, warranties, and performance assumptions.
• Prepare tailored proposals aligned with client needs and market standards.
• Engage directly with clients, lenders and developers, presenting results and maintaining relationships.
