Job summary

Italdesign Giugiaro S.p.A. is seeking an Embedded Software Lead to guide an expert team in Turin on automotive HPCs, zonal controllers, MCUs and SoCs. You will define service-oriented software architectures aligned with AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive and pursue SDV platform integration.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in automotive embedded software, deep GNU/Linux (Yocto/BSP) experience, and strong leadership skills to drive architecture, requirements and supplier coordination across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of automotive embedded software development experience.
• Solid experience with GNU/Linux (Yocto/BSP).
• Strong AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive knowledge.
• Experience with SDV platforms and HPCs.
• Proven leadership and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design, development and integration of embedded software for automotive HPCs, zonal controllers, MCUs and SoCs.
• Defining and governing service-oriented software architectures based on AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive standards for SDV platforms.
• Guiding and mentoring a team of embedded software developers and architects, coordinating priorities and technical decisions.
• Writing and reviewing software requirements, functional specifications and architecture documentation per A-SPICE.
• Interfacing with stakeholders through workshops and design meetings.
• Issue tracking, defect analysis and driving corrective actions across the lifecycle.
• Defining KPIs and analyzing risks, progress and architecture maturity for improvements.
• Supplier steering and coordination.
