Job summary

EDAG Italia is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our automotive engineering team and contribute to ECU software development. We welcome applications from both junior candidates with a strong academic background and from experienced professionals.

You will support embedded C software development for automotive ECUs, help configure AUTOSAR components, and assist in integrating MATLAB/Simulink models with hand-written C code. A collaborative, innovative environment awaits.

Qualifications

A degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
Knowledge of C programming.
Experience/Interest in embedded systems and software development.
Knowledge of microcontrollers and electronic systems.
Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or AUTOSAR is a plus.
Knowledge of electronics fundamentals and the ability to understand basic electronic schematics.
Motivation to learn, curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of embedded C software for automotive applications.
Contribute to the configuration of AUTOSAR software components and basic software layers.
Support the integration of software generated with MATLAB/Simulink with hand-written C code.
Participate in software testing, debugging and troubleshooting activities.
Support software integration and testing on target hardware.
Work closely with experienced engineers and other technical teams.
