JAM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a major data centre project in Italy. You will lead engineering design management across the lifecycle, from design reviews to installation, testing and handover, working with BIM, design and supply chain teams.

The role requires 7+ years in project engineering, strong LV/MV expertise and a track record delivering data centre electrical projects. Excellent communication and leadership are essential for success.

Competenze

• 3rd-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 7+ years' project engineering experience, ideally within construction.
• Strong experience with LV and MV electrical systems.
• Proven experience delivering electrical projects within data centres, commercial, industrial or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong knowledge of BS7671, IEC and EN standards, with ETCI and Building Regulations knowledge advantageous.
• Experience with Amtech, DIALux, AutoCAD 2D, Adobe Pro and MS Office.
• Experience managing clients, vendors, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Strong experience producing technical submittals, design reviews and technical assessments.
• Experience carrying out electrical system walk-downs and verifying installations against specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and project management capability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, process-driven and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead, influence and work independently.
• Strong focus on EHS, quality and work management systems.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical design reviews and coordinate design through installation, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate procurement, delivery and verification of electrical equipment.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors and project teams.
• Monitor engineering and construction progress against the project programme.
• Carry out electrical system walk-downs to verify installations against drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and manage electrical technical submittals through the approval process.
• Provide technical guidance to construction, procurement, commercial, estimating and bid teams.
• Support continuous improvement of project QA and engineering processes.
