Job summary

Gilead Sciences Italy in Milan seeks a Senior Director for Market Access & Reimbursement to lead pricing, reimbursement and access strategies for the Italian market. The role requires close collaboration across Commercial, Government Affairs, Regulatory, Medical and Global Value & Access teams to secure formulary positioning.

You will shape regional and hospital access plans, drive health economics, and engage senior stakeholders to optimize patient access to current and pipeline therapies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of healthcare experience with market access, pricing, HTA, and key account management.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build consensus across disciplines.
• Experience negotiating pricing and reimbursement with AIFA and engaging institutional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of pricing and reimbursement strategies for AIFA reviews and approvals, in line with global pricing policy, that support the portfolio's commercial ambitions.
• Oversee local health economics strategy and development of local reimbursement dossiers.
• Develop regional and hospital access plans, including formulary positioning.
• Define innovative strategies that secure patient access to current and future brands, while contributing to global Value & Access strategies.
• Partner with executives to align stakeholder engagement plans and build relationships with decision-makers.
