Madrigal is seeking a strategic Head of Market Access for Italy, based in Milan, to lead national pricing and reimbursement efforts for Rezdiffra. You will shape the Italian access landscape by engaging with AIFA, payers, clinicians, and patient groups, while aligning with global access strategies.

The role requires a deep understanding of HTA, payer dynamics, and cross-functional leadership. Join a fast-moving biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering innovations for MASH.

Competenze

• University degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of Market Access, Pricing, Reimbursement, or HEOR experience within the Italian pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Proven success navigating AIFA pricing and reimbursement processes for innovative medicines, including direct involvement in pricing negotiations.
• Deep knowledge of the Italian healthcare system, including national and regional payer dynamics, HTA, reimbursement, and early access mechanisms.

Mansioni

• Lead the national market access and pricing strategy for Italy, including securing national reimbursement and access for Rezdiffra.
• Drive AIFA pricing and reimbursement processes with dossier development and authority negotiations.
• Develop strategies to navigate the negotiation environment, balancing cost-containment with value.
• Engage with key stakeholders (AIFA, payers, clinicians, KOLs, patient orgs) to advocate patient access.
• Collaborate with Medical, Regulatory, HEOR, Commercial, and Global Access teams to build value propositions and evidence plans.
• Lead early access initiatives to accelerate patient access ahead of full reimbursement.
• Prepare regional access plans following national reimbursement and translate outcomes into patient access.
• Monitor pricing, reimbursement, policy, and competition; adapt strategies accordingly.
• Build and lead the Italian Market Access team and contribute to launch readiness and market shaping.
