ZEISS Sun Lens in Castiglione Olona, Varese, Italy, seeks a Senior Business Process & Data Governance Lead to drive end-to-end process optimisation and data governance across an international organisation.

You will support SAP S/4HANA migration, translate business requirements into future-state processes, and collaborate with senior leadership and IT to define transformation roadmaps and KPIs. The role involves cross-country change and AI-enabled opportunities.

Competenze

• Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 7–8 years in business process management, organisational consulting or business transformation roles.
• Experience mapping and redesigning end-to-end business processes in international organizations.
• Experience working on ERP transformation projects, SAP experience preferred, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of BPMN, KPIs and data governance principles; excellent stakeholder management.

In this role, you will play a key role in driving business transformation, process excellence and data governance across an international organisation. Working closely with senior leadership, business functions and IT teams, you will help shape scalable business processes, support our business to prepare for future digital transformation (SAP S/4HANA migration) and enable future digital and AI-driven capabilities.

Your Role

As Senior Business Process & Data Governance Lead, you will lead the review, optimisation and governance of end-to-end business processes while establishing strong data governance frameworks that support operational excellence and business transformation.

The role of Senior Business Process & Data Governance Lead will involve:

• Leading the analysis, redesign and continuous improvement of cross-functional business processes to improve efficiency, scalability and business performance.
• Driving data governance by defining data ownership, quality standards, governance policies and information flows across the organisation.
• Supporting SAP S/4HANA migration by translating business requirements into future-state processes aligned with SAP standards and best practices.
• Facilitating cross-functional workshops and collaborating with international stakeholders to align priorities, manage change and deliver transformation initiatives.
• Partnering with senior leadership, IT and business teams to define transformation roadmaps, process KPIs and opportunities for automation, analytics and AI enablement.

Your Experience

• Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 7–8 years' experience in business process management, organisational consulting or business transformation roles.
• Proven experience analysing, mapping and redesigning end-to-end business processes within complex or international organisations.
• Experience working on ERP transformation projects, with SAP experience preferred, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of business process management methodologies, process mapping (BPMN), process KPIs and data governance principles, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

It would be desirable if you had:

• Experience implementing or supporting AI, Advanced Analytics or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives.
• Knowledge of master data management, metadata governance and enterprise data quality frameworks.
• Experience working within multinational organisations and leading cross-country transformation programmes.
